Well Loved Bald Steiff c1908-10?
Handsome chap!
This fellow has been identified as a c1908-1910 Steiff
teddy bear without button...but I have no way of knowing for sure.
He is a nice size at 15” tall,  is quite bald with patches of mohair remaining here and there...mostly on his legs...but he is extremely charming!
He sees through black boot/shoe button eyes, has only a bit of his brown nose and claw stitching left. His mouth stitches are not original (he needed a smile). He has a nice hump and a lovely slouch due to aging.
His paw pads have been replaced but it appears as if they were done a  very, very long time ago as they are extremely aged with small holes.
His mohair “skin” is in very stable, good condition.
