Vintage Chinese Three Panel Folding Screen/ Room Divider- VERY COOL!
This vintage room partition/folding panel is a beautiful blue green and gold emblem design that will add a level of sophistication to any workable space. The panels surface is painted over a leather band wrapping and adorned with decorative gold embossed patterns. The binding is secured with hundreds of small rivets and on the edges are large stud rivets but not only give it a decorative look but on the bottom part of the edge provide easy maneuverability across smooth surfaces. I’m not sure of the actual date this was made but with the patina on the surface I would say early 19th century perhaps late 18th century construction.
Condition is Vintage/ Used. There are visible signs of wear with scratching and some cut marks on the surface but don’t be alarmed it does not take away from the charming look of this piece.
Each of the three panels measures 69 inches tall and 23 1/2 inches wide attached with hinges a total of three of them between each panel. With the trifold-design it is easy to fold and store when not in use.
