Vintage Chinese Celadon Ginger Jar with Lid.
Pre-owned but appears unused.  Still has its original foil sticker.
Stands about 6" tall, 5-1/2" wide, opening is 2-1/2" in diameter.  It weighs 1-1/2 pounds
This beautiful lidded ginger jar is a gorgeous celadon color with very subtle details.  The lid has a delicate, almost imperceptible floral design.
Being hand made there are production irregularities, most noticeable on the inside edge of the lid - shown in the last picture - where the glaze ends.  Also as usual some roughness on the unglazed ring on the bottom.  But no damage found - no cracks, chips, scratches or marks.  The interior is also glazed - same wonderful color.
From clean, smoke and pet-free storage - ready to display.  Ships by Priority Mail.
