This Hawaiian Monkeypod Bowl is the 4th one I’ve made. These have all sold fast in the past and this one should be no different. It’s one of the most unusual woods I’ve ever worked with.
It’s a very dense wood and it’s very durable. I make this size as nice accent pieces. It makes an amazing gift. No one has ever thrown away a wooden bowl so whether it’s for you or a gift, it will be cherished for years.
This wood grabs everyone’s attention so it’s a nice little conversation piece as well.
The only finish I put on this wood is a mixture that I make of Walnut oil, Mineral oil and Beeswax. It’s all food grade quality and adds no smell but protects the wood and keeps it feeling like wood.
I hand sign, date, and number every bowl I make. I hope you love it!
