1940's Vintage Fat & Happy Big Teddy Bear Tan Brown Beige Glass Eyes 25 Inches

Very early vintage brown tan beige glass eye teddy bear 25 in heavyweight. He seems to have a happy demeanor. Some holes in seams as shown. Snout has a little balding. Ears are loose up top in front but still fully connected. Just need a mend in front to position them. Arms are formed in a bear hug position. Fur is in great condition, especially in back and for it's age. Heavy duty stitching quality as shown. Weighs about 4.5 pounds. Not sure what he's stuffed with, looks like straw at hole under snout, for the head which is much more firm. The body stuffing looks like old wool thread or fabric pieces as shown where it's open on the right side hip. Arms and legs have softer stuffing. Head is firm, chest as well. I am not sure of exact age, but owner was a child in early 1900's. I was told this may be from the 1940's by a fellow ebay member.
